Walking For Fun has been created as a database of Walks. Mainly covering Derbyshire and the Costa Blanca in Spain. Over time the number of walks and content should improve.

The walks contain GPS track downloads for anyone who uses a GPS. 

Memory Map Tracks are also included I would highly recomend checking out this mapping software Click here for further information

I will gladly add walks for other areas if they are submitted in a format suitable for this database.

Please submit any new walks by using the 'Submit a New Walk page' 

Please ensure that anything submitted is original.

HELP NEEDED

At the moment this website is Free and is provided as a resource for anyone to use. - However all I ask in exchange is that you contribute to it's content where possible Listed below is where help is required.

Just check out the walks and help where you see something is missing

1. Submit a complete walk with instructions, Photos and GPS downloads. 
2. Provide just a GPS Track download.
3. If you are completing one of these walks maybe you could write some instructions at the same time.
4. Report any errors found in the instructions.

You may find that some walks are similar to others you have done. This is unavoidable since there are only so many Paths and tracks available to us. However any instructions pictures or other downloads will all be original and not copied from any publication. The only exception to this is where I have inserted a link to walks on other websites. These are more for extra content and hopefully will be removed once the database has grown.

Should you find anything on this website that breaks or infringe anyone elses copyright then please get in contact immediately.

Remember this website is for you and anyone else to use so the more you contribute the more useful it will become.
